Lets say trunks transforms into Ussj but the form somehow doesnot effect the speed , the speed remains like it was when he was in assj SO could he beat SPC? |

He might beat Cell for me at full power but I doubt that he would beat him in his SPC Piccolos reactions give as something to thing that he was a lot stronger than suppressed Cell so I put him at the level of FPP Cell the most I think he loses to SPC |

Oh yeah, Cell wouldn't get the chance to power up. Unlike Gohan, Trunks isn't a sadist when transformed to an advanced level. Unlike Goku, he's not a goof that thinks a legitmate challenge carries equal weight to saving the world. And unlike Vegeta, well we just won't get into that. Point is, Trunks is no-nonsense and when he has a killing edge on an Android, he takes it, runs with its and Space Jams the mother-lover. Point goes to Future Trunks. |

Trunks wasn't all that powerful, even a suppressed (non super) Cell would still be faster than him, and most likely stronger as well. FP Perfect Cell would walk all over him, and SPC would tear him a new one without even trying. Although, if you mean Cell Games Trunks (second ROSAT), then he could probably beat Cell @Goku, but he'd still be eaten by FP Perfect Cell. |

I doubt he would come close to Post-Zenkai Cell's power, though he might have a chance against normal full power Cell. |

I don't think he'd be able to keep up with him, even without a speed loss, there's still no speed gain. CG Gohan was definitely faster than any Future Trunks and he couldn't keep up with a suppressed Cell. He might have the same power as Cell, but he'd still be a lot slower. |

No way. SPC would one shot Trunks. Heck, inital Perfect Cell was still able to take some of his punches, he wasn't that strong that he could just challenge SPC like that. It took Trunks alot of power ups to surpass Initial Perfect Cell in strenght and I don't really think that his last power up was that much stronger than the previous one. Even FP Cell would eat him alive.

Oh good lord no, Trunks would be lucky as hell to even so much as make Full Powered Perfec Cell trouble, or even give him a look. The sheer difference between FP Cell and everyone else was considered to be astounding and this was after they had felt Gohan's power as an SSj2. The same people who absolutely murders SSj Gohan in a fight who in turn murders SSj Goku in a fight who in turn Murders SSj Vegeta in a fight who then in turn is a bit of SSJ trunks. You'd have to have one hell of an amplifier for the SSj Grade II for him to even get up to FP PC. As for SPC, Trunks has a better chance splitting the atom with his tongue than doing anything to SPC. You'd have to suggest somehow that the amplifier for Trunks is VASTLY higher than whatever the SSj2 amp is for you and/or to suggest that Trunks is somehow near Gohan in power. And I'm talking about 2nd ROSAT Trunks here as well. |

Based on memory did Gohan not take no damage from Cell at all? I've always thought he couldn't save his friends because he was in a vulnerable spot where Cell would not let him get away. Why does Cell need to be stronger? |

Cell was unable to do anything other than some cosmetic damage. He raised his speed to full, which clearly overwhelmed Gohan, but some fans believe his power raised as well. |

Chapter: 404 (DBZ 210), P6.4 Context: after fighting Gohan a little Cell: “You’re a quick little brat…! How about I go all-out, in speed at least?” I've always taken this literally, as if he just used speed to overwhelm Gohan as you said. It's like Trunks and Cell, Cell may be weaker but his speed gave him an advantage. |
